Gene - I read more about Union in the new SI. It is amazing that they got so far in the first place. And only one NHL draft pick. It's all about NHL playoffs now and the Sharks are NOT choking! 3-0 in series over Kings. There are billboards up in the Bay Area that just say "Beat LA" (Warriors are playing some team for down there too I heard.....). New CVB and new Monks of Doom on the horizon! Can new Cracker be far behind? It's not looking likely for a NorCal show other than Bottle Rock at least for early summer. Bummer. Fingers crossed that no one has to miss PiTown for any meetings or other reasons! It's 140 days away so more than enough time to come up with good reasons to be there (or excuses to miss other events.....).

Anyone listen to the pre release new cvb song? I'm liking it... I'm not hearing all the lyrics, but like the sound.

beachbum, as I understand it (even though I'm an east coaster), Rocky Point is gringo for Puerto Penasco. It seems a lot of gringos refuse to use the native language and insist on Anglicizing Spanish names.

You said it right, hedge. I often skip the LA Show, but given my "situation" this year, I should go. Oaklander, who knows what is a rumor, and what isn't. A literary giant died yesterday; Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Nobel Prize winner, author of Life in the Time of Cholera & One Hundred Years of Solitude. RIP. cabagge alien, I don't know what or where Rocky Point is.

hey Trey, put a dollar on lucky # 10 for me and talking about odds, history says we'd have a better chance of seeing them in LA prior to the big one. Have a great weekend everybody.
